"FAO Fisheries Circular No. 931, published n 1997, provided an indexed bibliography of FAO field project reports on aquaculture that were published between 1966 and 1995. The bibliography listed 1 712 references to these reports. The reports were produced as part of the activities of 208 national field projects conducted within 80 countries around the world, 41 regional field projects and 8 interregional FAO Fisheries Department projects. FAO Inland Water Resources and Aquaculture Service has converted these aquaculture reports to digital format in order to reach a wider audience. Version 1 of the CD-ROM includes the full-text of almost 800 reports and an updated version will be produced to include additional reports at a future date."--Container of version 1
