The book considers - beyond the distinction between "real" and "fake", originally and editorially - crucial questions for the understanding of the so-called scripture prophets: do they have common basic insights? How do the criticism of groups and the message about the people as a whole relate to each other, a warning with a call to repentance or repentance and an announcement for the future as well as an announcement of doom and salvation? The presentation of "certainty about the future and criticism of the present day" is supplemented by an investigation into the difference between salvation and scripture prophets (Mi 3.5-8) and an attempt to further define the intention of prophecy in conversation with current research: "Insight as a goal prophetic proclamation ".
