Description

Heimo Zobernig is one of the most respected artists working in Europe today. Born in Austria in 1958 he has exhibited extensively throughout Europe and the US including Documenta X and Documenta 11, Venice Biennale 2001 and a major touring retrospective in 2002. Over the last twenty-five years he has created a considerable body of work including sculpture, video, painting, installation, architectural intervention and performance. This book accompanies Zobernig's first UK exhibition and provides an overview of the artist's work, as well as incorporating new work and responses to Tate's collection developed especially for the Tate St Ives exhibition. The authors include Liam Gillick, Julianne Rebentisch, Bart van der Heide and Jessica Morgan.
