内容説明
This survey of human interaction with the Boeotian landscape uses GIS to jointly plot and assess material culture and environmental data. Chronologically the focus is on the Classical era, from Archaic to Late Antique, although other periods are also analysed. The analysis takes a regional approach, tracing similarities and disparities across micro-regions. The results allow for a much fuller picture of the dynamics of settlement activity, in particular highlighting settlement foci beyond the better known polis locations.
