Description

This study presents a detailed investigation carried out at the Pay Paso locality, which contains a total of nine sites of archaeological, paleontological and paleoecological interest on the plains of the Cuareim River in northwestern Uruguay. The results are used to analyse the transition from Pleistocene to Holocene in the region, and the distribution of point types used to draw conclusions about the mobility of early Palaeoindian groups.
