Description
This volume offers new perspectives on the study of ancient enclosed areas and buried surfaces. It draws on techniques from archaeopedology, micromorphology, phytolith studies, palynology, geophysics and geochemistry. In particular it investigates the application of archaeology, soil and life sciences to the study of ancient enclosures, fields, houses, gardens and courtyards.
