This text addresses the needs of HRM students writing either a management report or dissertation, providing both a theoretical framework and practical guidance.It provides an accessible guide to the planning and execution of HRM research projects. It seeks to develop the knowledge and skills of first-time researchers for effective research into HRM issues in organisations. Research Methods in Human Resource Management is practically orientated but discussion of conceptual frameworks and different methodological traditions are included. It is written and presented in an accessible way, with clear learning outcomes for each chapter and end of chapter discussion questions and activities. Examples of research projects in HRM are also included as are desk research and web-based investigation activities as well as questions based on small case scenarios.
