Description

A report on excavations at a ditched enclosure in west central France which revealed extensive occupation in the Middle Neolithic. Features excavated included one large building and two series of smaller structures, as well as a rampart and a burial site. Specialist reports analyse the pottery, lithics, human and faunal remains, and comparison with other sites in the region enables conclusions as the development of the Artegnac culture, including dwellings, flint artefacts and pottery. French text.
