2003 is a crucial time for child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS). They have to integrate with all the other contemporary children's initiatives and develop in line with the Children's National Service Framework to ensure the mental health needs of all children are met. This book aims to tell how to do just that. It explains in straightforward operational terms how services can be delivered in ways in which children, families and other agencies can understand, that are as local to the child and family as possible, that are helpful to educational, social, voluntary and other partner agencies and that allow clear commissioning processes.
