The 42nd annual meeting of the Linguistic Society of the Netherlands took place in Utrecht on February 5th, 2011. The annual meetings provide members with the opportunity to report on their ongoing research.
At this year's meeting, 112 papers were presented, of which 19 were submitted to the present volume. This volume contains a selection of these papers, which present an overview of current research in a variety of fields in linguistics.
