Summary: Since the nineteenth century, scholars have recognized that three religions have spread more widely through propagation and conversion than other religions. These three religions in historical order are Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam. In spite of this recognition and numerous studies of these and other religions, there has been almost no attempt to explain why these three religions should have spread so widely. This book breaks new ground in setting forth the reasons why these religions have spread. It also predicts the future course in the spread of religions based on the nature of these religions and changing world conditions
