内容説明
This work examines the plight of street children in Ghana and the insufficiencies of government programs designed to assist them. There is consensus that the presence of children on urban streets constitutes a global problem with serious social and economic implications. In fact, the United Nations Children's Fund estimates at least three hundred million children live on urban streets worldwide, with a huge fraction of this number, coming from the developing world. Ultimately, the application of academic interpretations offers a thorough evaluation of this phenomenon, serving as a precursor to creating pathways toward a fairly comprehensive, attainable, sustainable and effective campaign for intervention.
