The original volume, Making Sense: A Student's Guide to Research and Writing, enters its seventh edition after more than 25 years on the market. This volume is intended for undergraduate students in any humanities-based courses with a research and writing component. Its likeliest home will be in first-year courses; however, it is also suitable for students at the second-and third-year level. Revisions to the seventh edition of Making Sense: A Student's Guide to Research and Writing include updates and developments in technology-based research and writing have been incorporated, as well as newly added material on giving presentations.
