Description and Table of Contents
Description
Biogas is a product of the anaerobic digestion of solid organic biomaterials. Resulting gaseous mixture contains mostly methane and carbon dioxide and also traces of various compounds. In this book, the authors present topical research in the study of the production, consumption and applications of biogas. Topics include the effects of microwave irradiation on anaerobic digestion of mixed vegetable wastes; biogas production from solid waste and wastewater; biogas composition and utilisation; agricultural residues as new raw materials for biogas production and biogas and rumen fungi.
Table of Contents
- Effects of Microwave Irradiation on Anaerobic Digestion of Mixed Vegetables Wastes
- State of the Art of Biogas Production from Solid Waste & Wastewater
- Biogas Upgrading for the 21st Century
- Anaerobic Co-Digestion of Agro-Industrial Wastes
- Agricultural Residues as New Raw Materials for Biogas Production: Evaluating the Ecological Performance
