Summary: "On the eve of the summer tour, the owner and founder of a little circus dies brutally. To try to save the season, the troupe asks for the help of his oldest daughter, Kate. Even though she had quit the circus 15 years earlier, she accepts, putting her current activities on hold. By chance Vittorio, an Italian, arrives on the scene. Intrigued by Kate's personality and impassioned by circus life, he decides to follow them. He gradually integrates himself into the life of the troupe, even participating in the performances. But in particular he gets to understand Kate's secret: why she quit the circus earlier and why she agreed to return. At the end of the tour each will pick up his own path again.
