Description and Table of Contents

Description

Unfortunately violence and aggression seem to have become something endemic to today's world and everyone wonders about the frequency and ease with which people inflict suffering upon others. However, researchers universally bear in mind that there is no single cause of such behaviour and its explanation needs a multilevel analysis of its foundations (biological and psychosocial) and manifestations. Topics discussed in this book include a gender perspective of aggression in adolescence; personal predictors of driver aggression in Moscow; the social identity perspective and childhood aggression and the nature and prevention of intimate partner violence.
