内容説明

A Guide to Archigram 1961-74 is a reprint of a dual-language (English-German) book on the history of the Archigram Group, which revolutionized architectural thinking in the 1960s. The group s members, Peter Cook, Ron Herron, Warren Chalk, Michael Webb, David Greene, and Dennis Crompton, proposed a manifesto for new urban building that focused on a hightech, futuristic approach employing modular technology. This book traces the development of the group's ideas until the architects split to form individual design groups in the 1970s.
