Description

"Anish Kapoor: Flashback" presents the artist's vibrant early works alongside more recent sculptures, including the seamless mirror forms and monumental wax pieces that have secured his international reputation. Published to celebrate a major exhibition tour organised by the the Arts Council Collection, the book features a new interview with Kapoor, in which he discusses the developing artistic vocabulary of his forty-year career, and a survey essay by Michael Bracewell. The volume also includes an illustrated chronology and inventory of works by Kapoor in British public collections. Accompanies a UK exhibition tour to Manchester (March - June 2011), Edinburgh (Summer 2011), Nottingham (Winter 2011/12), Wakefield (June - November 2012).
