All the authors of this volume have worked in the field of nanostructures, nanomaterials and nanotechnology not more than 5-7 years. This is connected with the fact that 5-7 years ago this field of science practically did not exist. They are now working in the field of nanochemistry and nanoscience and arrived from other fields and brought with them knowledge they obtained in other arias of their work. The combination of their obtained knowledge in other fields and the new objectives produced a synergistic volume of knowledge.
