Theologians in Their Own Words is a volume of 23 brief, straight-forward autobiographical statements from many of the most important theologians and scholars of religion of recent decades. Each contributor sets out to discuss the development of their central insights and convictions in light of their life stories. The volume includes both previously published selections from Dialog: A Journal of Theology, as well as pieces specially commissioned for this volume.
