Summary: The Judge and His Diary discusses the diary of Sadreddinzade Telhisi Mustafa Efendi (1667-1735), who served as an Ottoman judge posted in Sofia, Manisa, Diyarbakir, Uskudar and Filibe (Plovdiv). He kept a diary of his travels and experiences, with a total of 4734 entries in 335 pages over twenty-four years, starting from the age of forty-four.
