The 44th annual meeting of the Linguistic Society of the Netherlands took place in Utrecht on February 9th, 2013. The annual meetings provide members with the opportunity to report on their ongoing research.At this year's meeting, 83 papers were presented, of which 25 were submitted to the present volume. The volume contains a selection of these papers, which may be considered representative of current research in various fields of linguistics.
