Description

In a collection of critical essays, commentaries and interviews, interspersed with poems and short stories, the editors have brought together an original anthology of some of the best writings by women from all continents. Volume one begins with introductions by both editors. The first part offers assertions, stories, reflections and commentaries by 20 authors including Opal Palmer Adisa, Eintou Pearl Springer, Patricia McFadden, Nawal el Saadawi, Beryl Gilroy and Catherine Obianuju Acholonu. Part two explores the poetry of over 35 writers including Sister Netifa, Nancy Morejon, Maya Chowdhry, Afua Cooper and Patricia Turnbull.
