Description
Text in German. The study of the surviving Septuagint fragments has a long tradititon at the Georg-August-Universitat Gottingen and V&R has already published editions of said manuscripts as early as the 18th century CE. The Septuagint represents an interface between Jewish and Christian life and belief. Hence, it is of major importance with regard to religious and cultural history. Volume 15 of the LXX edition, provided by the Septuaginta Unternehmen was edited by Joseph Ziegler and provides the books of Jeremias, Baruch, Threni, and Epistula Jeremiae.
