内容説明
Edward Adolf Sonnenschein (1851-1929) was an influential classical scholar, grammarian and educationalist. In this book, which was first published in 1927, Sonnenschein analyses the grammar of various Western languages, both ancient and modern, putting forward the view that they are 'fundamentally one in structure'. The main languages discussed are Ancient Greek, Latin, French, Spanish, English and German. Extensive textual notes are also included throughout. This book will be of value to anyone with an interest in grammar and the history of linguistics.
