Description
The importance attached to the adoption of Occupational Skill Standards (OSS) underlines the need to raise the public awareness about the role of blue-collar workers in national development and trade skill training. One of the effective ways of achieving this is by the use of skill competitions, which also serve to evaluate training programmes, and encourage co-operation between all those involved in vocational training. This publication includes training material used in a study tour of Japan in 1992.
