Material processing technologies under different manufacturing processes have been in evidence for the past many years and are being widely used in diverse areas. Among various manufacturing processes, casting, coating, welding, forging, non- traditional manufacturing processes etc are commercially used as manufacturing solutions. This special issue provides an overview of emerging technologies. Special issue on 'Material processing technologies' has original research papers, review papers, technical papers and case studies. This special issue is devoted to the development of important topics in manufacturing processes and has been published as special issue to compile selected papers from prominent researchers.
