Access to Geography: Hazards provides students with an in-depth understanding of natural and man made hazards. The text features a number of relevant and up-to-date case studies that are used as the basis for analysis of different types of hazard, the risks posed by hazards, and the process of risk assessment and responses to counteract the dangers posed by hazards. Physical hazards featured include hurricanes, volcanoes, earthquakes and river and coastal flooding.
