Description and Table of Contents

Description

The "Primary Art" series, made up of three illustrated teacher's books and a set of picture resource cards, has been designed to meet the requirements of the art National Curriculum at Key Stages 1 and 2. The first two teacher's books, "Understanding in Art" and "Investigating and Making Art" are linked to the three art Attainment Targets, while "Principles and Practice" provides an overview of the entire project. Each teacher's book shows a wide range of pupils' work to illustrate good practice, teaching strategies and assessment requirements, and each contains detailed advice on cross-curricular links with other subjects. The books can be used both independently and in conjunction with one another.
