Description
One of the main impulses of the Reformation was the dispute over writing. The yearbook for biblical theology asks new questions from the different theological disciplines about the historical developments, the background and the topicality of the time. The volume brings together articles on basic hermeneutic problems and on canonization from exegesis, studies on the Jewish understanding of Scripture from Jewish studies, works on the status of Scripture in different constellations from church and theological history, studies on the canon question in todays ecumenical horizon from systematic theology, and finally practical-theological and perspectives on the meaning of Scripture in various fields of activity of the church. It thus offers an overall theological contribution to the 2017 Reformation commemoration.
