Description
Marina Abramovic's creative path unflaggingly crosses a wealth of different countries, cultures and religions, continuing to evolve the practice of performance with unlimited discipline. In her work "Energy Clothes", Abramovic takes a look at the simplest, most elementary expression of what is an underlying theme in her art: energy. The energy clothes are in different colours, as according to Tibetan tradition, each colour transmits a different mental state, and the clothes also contain magnets. These clothes were the main theme of the course she held at the Antonio Ratti Foundation in Como in July 2001. This volume documents the lectures and concludes with a look at the pupils' work, which traditionally culminates the course.
