A second edition appeared in 1891 with bibliography comprising 94 titles, and with facsimile t.p. of the "Lettres d'amour d'une religieuse ... A Cologne, Chez Pierre du Marteau, 1669." The "Documentos" contained in the 1st ed. are omitted in the 2d
"As cartas" (p. [253]-302) is an attempt to reconstruct the Portuguese text of the "Lettres portugaises." The order of the letters is changed to what is probably the actual chronological order of the originals, the 2d and 4th being interchanged
