内容説明
This basic writing textbook offers developmental and non-traditional students opportunities to write about, discuss, and interpret the great ideas and events of the culture of the Americas. Anthologizing short, essentially chronological, cultural readings spanning the five centuries since Columbus' arrival in the Americas, the author integrates writing, grammar, and vocabulary assignment and exercises that spring naturally from the reading material. Also included is a grammar handbook with explanations derived from the readings themselves and photographs, artwork, and maps introducing each cultural area. An instructor's manual is available.
