Description
Mental health problems often occur in perinatal periods. Mothers' mental health problems can cause parenting impairment and affect family health problems (eg: child behaviours, cognitive development and physical health). To avoid those problems, early detection and early intervention for mothers' mental health problems are pivotal. Maternal mental health problems in perinatal periods are cared by many professionals (eg: obstetricians, midwives, nurses, pediatricians, public health nurses, and psychiatrists). This book mentions how to manage mental health problems in perinatal periods from the view point of various professional views. I sincerely hope this book will help cares for maternal and child health service professionals.
