Description

General and organic chemistry are part of many STEM majors and subsequent STEM careers. Student success in these (gatekeeping) courses can dramatically alter a student's path. This volume discusses courses and curricula designed to improve retention and lower the number of students receiving a D, F, or W in a course. Faculty, administrators, educational policy developers, and other readers will find effective interventions that can be applied at diverse institutions to increase student success in chemistry.
