This study examines one of the most successful pietistic journals of the 18th century, the 'Collection of Exquisite Materials for the Building of the Kingdom of God' theologically. It contained news from all over the world, e.g. Published, for example, about the revivals in the Anglo-American area, about missionary news, about the Catholic Church and much more. These messages are intended to bring the progress of salvation history and the expansion of the kingdom of God to the pietistic readership.
