内容説明
This text advances the thesis that there is an ancient bond between two kindred peoples - the Scottish and the Native Americans. It considers a wealth of documented cases of contact between these seemingly disparate and unrelated societies, presenting them as instances of a unique coincidence of destinies. Extraordinary stories, such as that of the Lakota encampment in the east end of Glasgow, or of buffaloes on the banks of the Tay are revealed as strangely solid, corroborated to some degree by external sources. In writing this, the author seeks to echo the spiritual traditions of the Native Americans: that there is an essential unity in all of creation.
