内容説明
Arthur Lazar has been photographing for over thirty years. Born and raised in New Mexico, he often returns to photograph in the radiant light and dynamic country of the Southwest. Intimate Landscapes presents for the first time many of Arthur Lazar's finest landscape photographs. Uncommonly sensitive and lyrical, these pictures reveal a world which is intricate, mysterious, and sacred. Lazar's work celebrates what is worth caring for in the natural environment and offers a vision of what is important to nourish within ourselves. The words of John Hay best describe the focus of this book. He writes, "There is nothing in the natural world which cannot be shown to hold the secrets of a dazzling elaboration, an incomparable advance, if only we let go this idea that all traffic stops at the man-made light." Arthur Lazar's photographs express a poetic connection to that world.
