Glyphosate is the most widely used herbicide in the world for post-emergence weed control. Given the wide spectrum of control and agronomic efficacy of this herbicide associated with the increase in the cultivation of genetically modified crops resistant to glyphosate, it is very important to understand the behavior and fate of this chemical product in the environment.
