Description and Table of Contents

Description

Soil Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering (GSP 201) contains 43 papers which examine a variety of topics in soil dynamics and earthquake engineering. This Geotechnical Special Publication is divided into three groups: the dynamic soil-structural interactions under seismic loads, the dynamic properties of soils and rocks, and seismic zoning and earthquake hazard assessment. These papers cover important issues such as the dynamic responses of earth dams, pile and pile groups, soil nailing, tunnel, landfills and shallow foundations. The papers in this publication were presented during the GeoShanghai 2010 International Conference held in Shanghai, China, June 3-5, 2010.|Soil Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering (GSP 201) contains 43 papers which examine a variety of topics in soil dynamics and earthquake engineering.
