Shawn F. Briscoe, the program director for the St. Louis Urban Debate League, has a quarter century of experience with academic, competitive debate. He earned his B.S. in political science from the U.S. Air Force Academy, an M.A. in international relations from the University of Oklahoma, and an M.A. in Teaching from the University of Alaska Anchorage. He has taught in both secondary schools and at university. He is a member of the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA), the American Forensic Association, and Phi Delta Kappa International
