Description
1. The Dictionary presents definitions for over 1000 terms used in the museum field, ensuring that these definitions reflect the diversity of cultural and disciplinary approaches to theory and practice in the museum field.
2. Drawing on the support of the support of an international editorial committee, including influential figures from the US, Canada, Brazil, Japan, Spain, Germany, France and the UK, this book will be useful for a broad spectrum of museum professionals, academics, researchers and students, as a result.
3. This will be the first internationally focused dictionary of its kind and the first dictionary of museology to be published in English. The book will be published in partnership with ICOM, who have an international network and are well-known around the world.
