Ulrike Ottinger's <i>Floating Food</i> documents an installation exploring eating as a cultural and religious ritual, and the cultural connotations of water. The installation is composed of film montages, photographs, ethnographic objects and sculptures that include a Samurai robe made of dollar bills and a shaman's costume.
