Description and Table of Contents
Description
Residential homes must obviously provide a good standard of care. However, homes for elderly people with mental disorders need to take account of the cognitive, communication and behavioural difficulties which residents often experience. This publication raises the issues and problems which need to be addressed, describing good practice and setting out appropriate standards and criteria.
