Bestia presents articles dealing with the beast fable and its sister genres in all literatures, languages and periods. It yearly publishes a selection of the most distinguished papers read at the annual International Congress of the Beast Fable Society. The present volume contains papers from the Fourth International Congress (Margarita Island and Caracas, May 25-June 1 1991). Subscriptions to Bestia: Yearbook of the International Beast Fable Society are invited.
