Summary: "This volume brings together articles that present, comment on and interpret primary sources from the Sasanian and post-Sasanian periods. The objects and documents treated in the volume are of recent appearence. Some come from official excavations like the bullae of Tak̲t-e Solaymān, but the majority has come through the antiquities trade. One article deals with texts and objects from the Sasania period, as well as Central Asian ethnography. The second reading of the documents of the Archive of Tabarestān, as well as the juridical commentary, which started in 2016 is completed with this volume. This original, and meticulous, work enables us to add to our knowledge of legal vocabulary and Sasanian law."--Backcover
