Description

近代国家建設を目指した彼の国に民主主義はなぜ根づかなかったのか？近代国家建設を進める国民党は、民主化の前段として政治的に未熟な民衆を党が指導する「訓政」を掲げた。しかしそれは紆余曲折の末、当初目指した民主憲政ではなく、蔣介石の個人独裁へと帰着する。民主制の模索が失敗に終わった組織的風土的要因を探る。
