Summary:"This volume is a project inspired by the Japan-Taiwan Security Dialogue, titled Structural Shift of Geopolitics in the Indo-Pacific: Implications of Japan's National Security Strategy for the Region, held at the Taiwan Center for Security Studies (TCSS) and Osaka-based Momoyama Gakuin University (also known as Saint Andrew's University). The conference was jointly organized as a one-day Japan-Taiwan Security Dialogue in a hybrid format. Policy experts and research scholars from Japan, Taiwan, and other countries contributed papers on the theme of the dialogue. Previously, three such dialogues were held and served as the impetus for similar volumes in the Book Series on East Asian Security, including Defense Policy and Strategic Development: Coordination Between Japan and Taiwan and Security Turbulence in Asia: Shaping New Strategy in Japan and Taiwan. In addition to chapters derived from the papers presented at the conference, this volume also includes contributions inspired by the dialogue's theme,
