    Full-FT方式CCDセンサには光入射面に存在する工藤電極が量子効率を劣化する、裏面入射の場合ブルーミング防止ができない、ホールピンニングを用いて低暗電流化するとダイナミックレンジが狭くなる等の課題がある。新しいCCDレジスタを提案し、特性を解析した。その結果、このレジスタを使用すると既存のFull-FT方式CCDセンサセンサの特性を凌駕できることが分かった。

    イメージセンサのナイキスト周波数よりも高い周波数成分を持つ2次元画像を、デジタル信号処理と光学ローパスフィルタにより復元した。192×192画素の画像から384×384画素の画像を再構成した。復元された画像は使用したcharge-coupled device(CCD)イメージセンサのナイキスト周波数の1.4倍までの周波数成分を含んでいた。本理論によりイメージセンサの解像度を上げることが可能である。
