    <p>ピコ秒レーザーの生体作用は，光機械的作用が中心である．刺青治療では熱緩和時間以内となり有効性が格段にあがった．応力緩和時間以内の照射時間で適切なフルエンスを用いれば，衝撃波により標的組織を選択的に光破壊可能である．メラニン系疾患に対しては，一部の機器が応力緩和時間以内に入ってきたため，より選択的治療が可能となったが，メラノゾームのみの破壊だと刺青と異なり再発等の問題がある．</p>
